MEDIBANG MANGA

Hey Everyone!

My name is Liam Gray. I'm the founder of Conquest Comics and the creator of Xenotype. I sell comic books and comic book accessories. 

For the last month I’ve been showcasing my new manga series via IndieGOGO, YouTube and Twitter with some success, but now its time for a change! 

When we decided to shift our focus to Medibang-orientated promotion we never could have imagined such a tremendous outpour of support. It feels fantastic to be embraced by the community and its been absolutely wonderful having the opportunity to meet so many other talented artists and fans along the way!

Wonder Island #1: Hero of Brightwater currently sits at an impressive 101 backers on IndieGOGO with 13 days remaining. We are excited to release the first sample pages on the Medibang Platform for people like yourself to finally read and enjoy! 

We are currently still working on the flats. The final colors will be heavily textured in a copic-style to ensure the book has that authentic retro aesthetic. So, in the meantime just sit tight, we’ll be unveiling the completed pages real soon!

The July Theme for the ARTstreet Monthly Illustration Contest was SWIMWEAR and my lead artist (Yuka Cross) was excited for an opportunity to put her skills to the test. Our first entry was called Wonder Island Beach Day, featuring the energetic and lovable cast of our fierce fighting franchise enjoying a day of rest along the beach of Cozy Cove. This piece elicited a rather strong initial response from viewers but failed to garner a [Ranking] in its first week. Still, we were excited to produce it and the Full Resolution image is now available on our Patreon as a Wallpaper for your computer.

Our first illustration garnered approximately 6 favorites and a slew of user reactions from just 70 views. It was impressive and encouraging.

As was the FEATURED COMMENT by DSXLMXDO who described the piece as “fresh” and “beautiful.”

Feeling encouraged by such a robust response and wanting to include more adult characters and swimwear, I put Yuka to work illustrating the ZELENA NINELIVES SWIMSUIT SPOTLIGHT. The response was staggering!

Within the first few hours the piece had garnered nearly twice the views as the original, which had already been featured for a number of days.
