I really don't think I've ever heard anyone say the podracing scene was bad. I kinda thought the general consensus was always that the podracing scene and the Darth Maul fight were the only 2 awesome parts.

2025-05-29 02:35:52 +0000 UTCThe other hilarious thing is that JarJar was originally supposed to be the actual "phantom menace," but the general dislike of him as a character made G.L. pivot and create Count Dooku to be the Sith Lord instead. But I will always wonder how "Count Binks" could have been.
