Fascinating video! Thanks for the look under the covers (and I hope Simon forgives you); and I'm _really_ looking forward to the UI improvements on MuseScore when they start to arrive. :)

OK, I have a really weird question. I have a Edition Peters version of J.S. Bach's Sonata in G Minor BWV 1030b for Oboe (Flute) and Harpsichord. I was for many months wondering why, in the oboe part, the second movement has identical first and second endings. Since you provided the preview of the above video, I realized that the reason for this might be that the oboe part was auto-generated from the score, where the keyboard doesn't have identical first and second endings. But...your video suggests that Edition Peters uses SCORE, and SCORE doesn't auto-generate parts. So which is the more likely explanation: (1) Edition Peters has used more modern part-generating notation software for this particular edition, or (2) I just don't understand some perfectly valid reason for putting identical first and second endings in an oboe part? (I've considered that the oboist is likely to ornament or improvise on the first and second endings differently, but that should apply to the whole repeat anyway, and who is going to write all that in their part?)
