Target version for TaC

My dream would be to work on a single version Minecraft version of TaC, wether 1.16, 1.18, and so on. So far I am working and quite already close to a functional version of 1.18 thanks to 2 massive contributors, Yor42 and a friend, which I will have both as prominent contributors within the project once the 1.18 version is fully working.

This also means I would be maintaining both versions for a bit, as I train the TaC team for 1.18 work, and also learn the new environment myself (Includes finally fucking fixing issues that plagued development of earlier versions to do with Legacy mc versions)

I am simply asking what is peoples interest in MC version, would you guys want us to ASAP close 1.16 progress because you plan to play on legacy for a long time after the 1.18 port, or if you are interested in updating your world and mod versions to join into the 1.18 port?
