2024-01-10 07:30:42 +0000 UTCThis comment will never be seen but the case of the dming for the girlfriend has precedence because at my DND game I play with my ex neither of us are damming. I was brought in by my ex to join this group of a guy he met at work. We broke up about four months into us, playing the campaign after four years together. For a couple months we did not play because they had very harsh feelings about me said some really awful stuff but we are able to sit at a game together. I say give it some time I know this case is two years old. Give it some time, and then you can play together with no issues. We didn’t have hard feelings either we broke up no one did anything wrong, but my ex was just sore about it so we play together now pretty OK actually it was a little bit awkward the first couple sessions but now we’re back in it full swing and playing better than ever.

2023-11-24 00:15:45 +0000 UTCYou can't dispel an entire effect of a spell on multiple people, to dispell magic effect they can be dispelled on a person by person basis. so if you cast heroes feast and affect 6 people, you have to cast dispell magic on each of those 6 people.

When you know that you're going to a spooky mansion full of a witch that has specifically kidnapped kids and you drink the wine ANYWAY, that's on you. 2022-07-21 20:11:15 +0000 UTCAh yes, Dominic person. I joined a game when the party was around level 6 or so, and we were fighting some wizard in the sewer. I failed a save against Dominic Person and was commanded to attack my allies, most of which had been hurt throughout the fight. With an int of 18 and a much lower wisdom, I charged a group of already injured allies, used an area of affect attack, and knocked three of the four out in a single turn. I've never fully regained their trust lol

One of the tactics we taught them was "distract" meaning, make a distraction just to direct some of the intensity of the situation away from the conflict. And the middle schoolers would always come up with the wildest things. But one time a kid actually raised his hand and said, "Last week there was a fight happening in the hallway and so I started doing backflips on the other side of the hallway and everybody stopped paying attention to the fight and watching me do backflips." So I absolutely stand for the performance tactic

He really went scorched earth with the games I was in with him (one he was a DM one he was a player) once the screenshots of his abuse came out. So the thought of him trying to leave out details to get sympathy from the wondrous 2 Crew, really made me feel gross lol.

The DM in my group was abusive and manipulative and a total piece of shit, but he was also the type to purposely leave out information that makes him look bad.

They weren't interested in fighting them, so I added that they were eating children in a stew. The players still decided they didn't want to fight. Instead they chose to just nod at the hags and ended up creating a sort of neighborly vibe with them. Later when they met in a more formal way, they were offered the stew, and one of my players drank some. The rest of the table has never let them live this moment down, and often remind him that he once "Ate children." His response is always, "DRANK!" So needless to say, I almost spit out my coffee when this same discussion happened in the ep. Well done!
