In the short rest - Murph mentions that he was rolling her concentration checks when she got hit but her saving throw is +14 so it's really hard to break her concentration

2023-07-20 13:34:01 +0000 UTCas someone that regularly plays i often forget about concentration 90% of the time. in my opinion it's a flawed and sometimes confusing mechanic that the dm often forgets about and the players are either also forgetting or just don't want to bring it up. as for naddpod they get a solid grasp on 5e rules by now. once you catch up to c3 you won't notice as many fuck ups (although they still do occasionally)

I think it feels more intuitive and rewards players for thinking tactically (and punishes them when they don't)

Even if you have advantage 100 times and disadvantage once it is still a normal roll. It might seem fucked up, but if you have disadvantage 100 times and advantage once then it is also a normal roll, which is the pay off.
