2022-03-01 13:41:48 +0000 UTCOnyx is sparkling rose sangria. A barrel-aged, thick, dry red wine mixed with a flirty, light, bubbly, white for the rose. Then sub a fresh, bitey whiskey instead of a rum. Add loads of chopped berries and let it all stew for a week in the fridge. Then pour into a glass rimmed with sugar crystals and garnish with a stick of rock candy and a skewer of fresh tropical fruit. Gens is a elderberry, mojito with flaming bay leaves on top. Clear, vanilla-flavored rum + green sugar cubes + mint leaves + elderberries muddled and poured over dry ice. Top with three bay leaves dipped in Everclear and set in fire. Nyak is a fishbowl drink. Malibu coconut rum (gag), UV vodka shots in cake batter, bubblegum, blue raspberry, grape, and pink lemonade, then a can of sprite and a can of mountain dew. Fill a fishbowl and garnish with strawberry jelly rim and blueberry jelly ice cubes as well as a rubber ducky toy on top.

2019-09-26 15:29:33 +0000 UTCEmily, I built a super rad necromancer using the Divine Sorcerer in Xanathars. Getting to use both cleric and sorcerer spell lists and metamagic really made her awesome. I also reflavored all of the βspiritualβ spells from the cleric list to be ghostly skeletons.

2019-09-21 07:48:45 +0000 UTCJake, take a look into the Revised Ranger from Unearthed Arcana! If youβre using the original one in the PHB, it is pretty underwhelming. Revised fixes a lot of the issues, and when coupled with some of the new subclasses, it does a ton of damage! My DM refers to the revision as βdivorced kidβs Christmasβ and it is exactly that. XD

And since they already learn spells it's not too difficult to balance it out a bit

You can learn two spells per level for free iirc. And then if your dm is nice, they can have spells just sitting around in the world for you to find and put in your book. At level 14 I have something like 40 spells in my book! Its great!

She thought she was good bbbut her ignorance prevented her from seeing what was wrong about it. Playing that side of her was really difficult! I kept above game apologising. I wanted her to learn and grow past it but never got the chance as the campaign fell through. I'd like to return to something like that, playing a character that in real life, I'd disagree with, just to understand the other side. And fro work on my acting/improv, too. π
