Supporter Pack Upgrade Ideas
Added 2024-03-14 20:04:01 +0000 UTCHey again everyone, just wanted to build on my last post and put out some suggestions for new content we can create for supporter packs. I've set it to multiple choice so people can pick everything they like the sound of. And of course, if people have other ideas or want to expand on what I've put in the poll I'd love to hear from you in the comments. Thanks gang!

In this type of game, making mistakes is one area that choosing Real Life option keeps intact. It keeps you honest. Learning how a particular choice impacts the game could remove the desire to replay some parts or paths in the game. If I know I don't like the outcome of one path, I don't play it and that might come with all sorts of other repercussions. If I don't know, I have to make the choice with my gut, regardless of the mode I'm playing the game in. Overall, I love the idea of Supporter Packs. Let's hear what others think.

2024-03-15 06:44:42 +0000 UTCI really like the idea of the CK side-stories, but I'm also a little unsure how such stories might play with the game itself. One of the things I have always admired about CK has been the game's insistence on always staying with the protagonist and seeing the world through his eyes. That limited perspective makes for really compelling story telling (like in the early game when you have to decide on limited information if Chloe is as bad a Ryan / Grayson make her out to be). Some of the toughest choices in the game come from making calls based only on what you know about the characters or are told about them through others. I like the idea of CK-Side stories as an extra, but I would also feel like something might be spoiled by seeing the characters away from the protagonist and seeing the sides of them we are not naturally privy to (this also applies to the story specific renders that the MC wasn't there for). I like knowing as much about the situation as the character. On the other hand, if the stories are done with the protagonist present, that could work. I could imagine a round table night, the protagonist and the girls kicking back and maybe each of them telling a story from their past (from their perspective) to him as a bonding exercise. Some could be really provocative and racy - I could imagine Amber telling a story that would get a rise out of everyone, but others could be heartfelt and sweet - maybe Lindsey has one memory about her Mother. The protagonist might even have one himself about how things used to be with Emily. Really excited by the possibility of side stories as an extra but also have my reservations. I definitely like the idea of content that goes beyond renders though. Excited to see what you land upon.
