Exclusive Render Poll - April & Dev Update

Hey everyone,

April's been a very busy month for us, with both Patreon and Steam releases.

As this is a dev update as well as a poll, all patrons can see this post. However the exclusive render will only go to Junior+ patrons, as always.

Unfortunately, Steam release especially, did not go as planned. So far we've only received mixed reviews and it's really tough to see. I think in an attempt to get bigger and better, we've lost track of some important fundamentals. I like the direction we're moving in, but we've clearly got to clean up our act if we want to pull it off successfully.

Our number one priority is delivering a game that you players love and if an update or an entire act doesn't hit that mark, then we need to take a step back and fix it. Over the next few days, we will work on plan on how best to do that. We will thoroughly go through all feedback of the Act, including all patreon surveys, discord comments and steam reviews. Then we'll prioritze and see what should be changed and how to change this.

The biggest one obviously is save carry over, which we will be able to implement and alpha version of very soon.

I plan on making a detailed video on what I think went wrong, what needs to change and what we're doing to change it later this week.

If you were disappointed by any part or the act as a whole, I'm really sorry that we couldn't deliver up to the standard we wanted to do. At the end of the day I'm behind most important decisions and it's my fault if we don't meet expectations. I assure you guys, that we take your feedback incredibly seriously and we will fix everything that needs fixing.

That being said, please vote for this month's exclusive render, the April wallpaper is coming later this month as well. Chloe and Nora are unavailable as they were last month's exclusive render.
