Expanding the Project

Hi guys,

As you may know, I’ve recently started to look at options in starting a 3Diddly company. Of course, there are a few problems and hurdles.

After years of game development and at least 100~150 hours of content across multiple games, the number 1 complaint from you guys is still that you want more and faster content. I take this as a compliment, since you want to see more of what I can develop even after this many years.

In order to increase the amount of content being produced, I have to hire someone, since I have hit my maximum efficiency as one developper. This introduces another problem: quality programmers do not work for free. I could potentially start with a part timer, but in all honesty, it would likely hinder my production just by training someone and helping them build their skills. I would need to hire someone full time to be able to realistically increase production speed. After crunching some numbers, I've come to the conclusion that this would only be achievable in my country (Canada) at 600 to 700 patrons.

This may seem like a distant goal, but WDR has picked up steam in the recent months. Once this goal is achieved, I’ll update you guys on any turn of events.

Animation will make updates take much longer, as noticed in other games that have animation. It's fine as is. The updates are arriving at a good pace.

Great news but i think you are doing very well also with current situation. The only thing u may could improve in any of the next games is adding some animated scenes.
