My motivation to compose music is highest after midnight. There are no planes, motorbikes, or trucks, and no deliveries, phone calls, or requests. This is something I learned from working late into the night and on weekends and holidays during my time at Namco. At night, I don't have time to take care of my three-dimensional and physical needs, such as making contact, doing paperwork, cleaning, eating, or training, and I can devote all of that time to composing. Not being exposed to miscellaneous tasks allows me to concentrate on composing. I'm really grateful for that.
