Find a new UK Garage, House that fits R4

When I made REIWA TYPE 4, 4.5, and V, I realized that my compositions were most inspired by the drama part of R4.

He created an emotional human drama by contrasting the fashion of the music of the time with the world of power and speed of car racing through the introduction of new cars and menu screens.

When I fantasize about a sequel or modern version of R4, I think it would be nice if the music would be centered around house or UK garage, with sentimental and passionate melodies that would go along with the drama. I think it would be a good contrast if the accompaniment was drum'n'bass like Move Me or Naked Glow, breakbeat, or what was called big beat at the time.

In fact, when I was in charge of Urban Fragment, I took the chords out of my drawer and reworked them to explore my favorite R&B as a job, which undoubtedly brought the jazzy harmonies to Move Me and Revlimit Funk.

At that time, it was urgent for me to seriously learn drum'n'bass and breakbeat, and other members were already making house music, so I didn't have to make it myself. Urban Fragment is game music based on a house song, some kind of beat music, and completely different from real house. By placing it in the intro of the game, the ending made it clear that ``Ah, this is the real house!'' It was a nice contrast and gave a broader perspective to the world. Even with the Ridge Racer series that followed, I was conscious of the division of roles in that I would be able to expand the scope of my work by working on something other than house.

So, going back to what I said at the beginning, I finally realized that the various elements of the house are essential when dreaming up a modern version of R4.

In fact, I was very surprised that people were listening to ``CHOOSE YOUR MACHINE (90s House Mix),'' which I made by learning the early 90s house music form. Perhaps it's because of the old, unsophisticated sound, but people feel like it's been there for a long time, and some have asked for a longer version. Although I wanted to create something that I could easily create, I also realized that I had never worked on the house music of the era in which I lived. It would take a lot of time and money to learn and make it.

So I asked myself an extreme question.

"Are you going to never compose house music for the rest of your life?"

So I have to think of a modern version,

PinkPantheress, Newjeans, and Jung Kook's "Seven", which are revivals from the 90s and 2000s, are good, but I'd like to find a shape that better fits R4.

I replaced the organ bass tone with a bass house tone, but if I kept the breakbeat as it was, it would still have an old feel, so I was wondering what direction to take it in.
