Thank you! You have come such a long way and now I am reading your writing! What an inspiring fate. I'd like to hear your friend's songs too.

Mr Takahashi, so glad to learn that you as one of the creators of this timeless classic, also have such a great memory of the time. In 1999 I was in grade 5, lucky enough to own a PS1, but $2 pirated game CDs were all that were available around me. But that only allowed the release of R4 to spread faster among kids and youth. Still remember it was a Friday afternoon, brought it back from the nearest game plaza, played through the same evening. Sure enough blown away by the style in so many ways, and of course the music sticks in my head. As I grew up I played it again and again all the way through university, the new consoles didn't make this game old at all. At some point decided my favourite sound track is Naked Glow. In high school my music buddy and I were learning all the MIDI tools (FL studio was still Fruity Loops then), I certainly didn't forget to share your piece with him (sorry, still some MP3 downloaded from random sites). This buddy had never played R4 but for your music he decided to get a PS2 and find the old game. Now NG becomes his favourite too. As we knew more about making music we feel more amazed your team in 1999 could create something this ahead of its time. He later became a professional game composer like you. I've lost track of what he's been making, but know it includes a few well known games played across the world, including a racing game, and we still chat about how much we worship the R4 sound track. Apparently he recently had his young music apprentices play R4 as a lesson and it seems the Gen Z too can appreciate :D it was from Youtube I learn we're among so many fans who admire the game and your sound tracks, all these NG covers and uploads (oh I learned you were also part of Ace Combat 2 my other favourite...). I was driving home from work and the phone shuffled to another R4 piece, then I thought it's such a wonder people's memories are connected in ways we wouldn't have expected 25 years ago. So probably like many of your fans have done, decided to share this appreciation here. Thank you, and wish you good health as well.
