While composing, I am in the dream world, so things are happening and I am reacting in ways that are unfathomable when I am awake from a dream.
It seems that the new song is the result of a series of actions that I would never normally choose to take in response to these events in the dream world, which I cannot hear from my daily life.
While I was writing the song, I seemed to be in the realm of complete unconsciousness.
Focusing only on my instincts, my mind, head, and body were fully engaged in the action.
Therefore, there is no place for the conscious mind.
To give form to the "I wish it would sound like this" requires knowledge, technique, and awareness, but since I have already prepared my body in advance, my hands act on their own as a reflex, so there is almost no need to use my awareness.
Of course, there are times when the sound doesn't turn out the way I want it to sound, but that is usually because I have experienced it in the past and have spent a lot of time researching, studying, experimenting, and demonstrating... so I can solve the same type of problem reflexively.
In such a free state of consciousness, you are always looking ahead in the midst of it, so you never see the footprints of what you have accomplished, and you don't grasp it as if you did.
So after you finish making it,
"What? Who made this? What was the idea behind this part? How did you come up with that?
Every time we finish making something, we always have to ask ourselves, "How did they come up with that?
This time, after finishing all the work, I took a break from the countless post-release tasks and faced the freshly created songs.
I was already wondering "How in the world did I come up with this song..." while listening to the whole album.
When I analyzed them, I remembered many things.
Since no two sites are the same, each idea was unique, or rather, it was something that I could only come up with at that particular site.
If I tried to imitate that approach elsewhere, it would not work, because each site would have its own unique and different answer.
We can simply grasp the general framework of what happens in this world with a simple "Oh, that's the case," but the actual scene is quite different. The details of each situation are very complex and unique.
