To make the next one Ep.1

This year, Kaze no Klonoa is set to return for an encore on its 25th anniversary.

Every day, Twitter is flooded with Klonoa fan art.

It was such a dreamy time to live for a while.

The same year, Ace Combat 2 celebrated its 25th anniversary.

My sense of the past had dulled to the extent that I happened to notice from a fan's comment that my full-fledged debut title was also celebrating its 25th anniversary.

I thought it would be great if I could make a special DJ mix.

I lightly tweeted this thought on social media and realized something more.

In the Ace Combat series, which continues to this day.

The only numbering I was in charge of was 2.

Today, 2022.2.22, is the day with the most 2's in my lifetime.

Since it's a celebration, I'd like to dedicate it to the current staff and fans.

However, I'm not sure how I'm going to finance the production.

There's nothing I can do.

Just then.

I received a message notification at the timing that it would be 2022.2.22 in 40 minutes.

It was a request for a DJ MIX of game music from Europe.

The miraculous timing gave us a chance to create a positive future for each other.

However. After all, the condition was no money.

I replied that I would love to participate if I had the funds to make the mix they requested.

He replied, "That's right.

In order to make the requested mix, I would have to raise the funds myself.

I want to be clear about demand and possibilities.

If you have the funds, you can do it.

If you don't have the funds, you can't do it.

I went to bed and woke up thinking.

Whose request is it?

There are no demands at the moment.

Then the demand is as close to an illusion as possible.

What if I were a single game music fan, and I had to choose between a world where mixes arranged by the composers of my favorite songs existed, or a world where they didn't, whichever I preferred?

In order to make that decision, I came up with the idea of raising funds for the production of the next mix.

I decided to leave the choice of world line to everyone who lives in this world.

Even if it might be a countdown to extinction.
