Dev Log 01-Sep-2023
Added 2023-09-01 15:47:54 +0000 UTCHello!
It's been a chaotic week, but let's get to it.
Almost done writing for the infiltration sequence, will probably wrap it up tomorrow. Had some license and credits related stuff to handle, fixed some bugs, added a "skip concert" feature for the previous release, removed some music and added some, plus created a credits screen. This all isn't all that exciting, but it was work that needed doing and I'm really glad I got the over with. Especially the music license stuff. I also finished the Steam page and it's currently in review. Should be able to share it soon. Apart from that, all the static renders for the first ending are done, 2/4 animations are rendered and the other two are ready to be rendered this weekend.
I started work on the next scenes and will be continuing that next week. I wanna finish writing the last parts for the infiltration and start writing the ending proper. I can't guarantee it'll be done this weekend, but it won't be long now. Also, setting up more animations next week and wanna see how far I can push this outdated PC.
It's the crunchiest time of the year!
Hope you're having a wonderful week.

2023-09-01 17:54:13 +0000 UTCWhen the case weighs more than computer parts. ;) Back when I was working for Dell, there was the XPS 700! During a display of it for the people who will be doing helpdesk, something fell on a co-workers foot and broke it. Good for sturdiness...bad if you need to make repairs. Of course, I do manage (I am a Dr. of IT first, crazy designer of VN with fiery redheads second). :)

2023-09-01 17:48:24 +0000 UTCSorry to hear that. My father had a back injury and I know it can be horrible to manage. I did order a full tower case a few days ago and had to carry it up a few flights of stairs. Did not expect it to be over 20kg. Luckily, I have experience carrying heavy stuff from working in a warehouse a few years back, so I didn't hurt myself, but damn. I really wasn't expecting it to weigh that much.

2023-09-01 16:27:45 +0000 UTCYea, I get the outdated computer. ;) Although, piece of advice. Do not get a 4070 ti (or any of similar size) unless you can handle putting it in. TLDR: I have a degenerative back injury from an accident in 2003. Trying to get a big video card that as bulk at a 90's CD-ROM into that PCI-E slot..let just say I couldn't move well for a few days. :P
