Dev Log 21-Jul-2023

This has been a... strange week. Handled some admin stuff on the business side, created about half as many images as I should have, but I wrote a lot. I really got into a flow and figured I should let it happen instead of forcing myself to stick to what I'd scheduled. As a result, I finished about two more scenes and I'm halfway through the first ending. I'll have more details about that one and its requirements as we go forward. It's gonna have 2 variations; one of them will have no requirements, the other will have just one thing(first one will be the easiest to get).
Figured I should give you a general progress update as well since I haven't done that in a while. We're around 14k words in, 650 static renders are done, and the code for the infiltration part is finished, as well as the design document for the gameplay of it. Oh, I also replaced the songs I wasn't supposed to use. The new songs aren't... as good, in my opinion, but they're similar in mood.
Next, I wanna finish the ending and maybe start on a sex scene. Render-wise, I'm going to finish Selena's date scene and possibly move into the mystery part with the images as well.
Hope everything's going lovely!

The best project management practice is: Schedule more than you might think is necessary for a task. In most cases, you will end up ahead of schedule, but you still have that buffer. ;) But yes, going with the flow is the best because bugs occur when things are rushed or gone against the flow. ;)

2023-07-21 18:34:20 +0000 UTCI find it best to go with the flow. Seems to work best. And I'd feel weird curbing my excitement just to stick to the schedule. Schedule I made up myself...

2023-07-21 18:10:49 +0000 UTCProgress is Progress. :) I do run into that every now and then. Sometimes, I render and write, and then there are points where I want to know where I am going..so I write and write then render it out. Then I sometimes end up editing it to fit with an image better. ;)
