Patreon Diary Entry 01/10/2024

Hey everyone,

I hope you're all doing well! Its spooky season but more importantly its coming into autumn and honestly I am all here for it, the cooler weather, the colors of the trees, honestly I've grown to love this time of year.

So this is going to be a new thing I am starting where at the beginning of every month I'm going to do a 'Patreon Diary Entry' , basically a personal look and update into everything that's going on in my life, a sort of newsletter if you want to call it that, its a way for me to stay connected with you guys and keep you updated with everything.

Firstly welcome to all the new patreons! Recently I dropped the prices which has allowed more people to join and that's so awesome to see, honestly your guys support helps me more than you realize like to you its a couple of pounds a month but it helps me out so much. Content creation isn't my full time job but with your guys support it gets me that little bit closer to some day making it a reality and so I will be forever thankful to you guys.

So whats been going on with me? Well my new house just got plastered which is exciting! No more walls full of holes and cracks! As soon as that's all dried we are going to get around there and start painting, then we can get carpet down and omg we're nearly ready to move in almost a year on from buying the place! We're getting a new bathroom fitted in November and if my office is ready and we have a bathroom, kitchen and place to sleep I'm going! I cannot wait for it, I feel like content wise its going to free me up so much, no more conscious thoughts of people listening to me speaking, Lego therapy can become a proper series that is frequent too! Its gonna be so cool having my own place I can't wait! In September I also had my 5 year anniversary with Anna which is kinda crazy... we went to York for a weekend which was really nice and gave me a nice break away from everything!

Mentally I feel like October was a bit of a meh month for me, I had some low moments and feelings of failure and uncertainty about different things, doubts about myself and my content and I was just at a pretty low point, but I'm starting to see the other side of it, I'm so happy with my last video returning to the MxZ show and it seems like you guys are too which makes me so happy, outside of that I'm just trying to slow down in life, not focus so much on constantly completing tasks and working all the time, just actually making time to enjoy the little things, spending my weekends just reading and watching films or going for a walk, its been really good for me mentally to just have those slower days to reflect and be present in my day.

One thing I've been a bit annoyed about is I've completely fallen out of routine with my diet and gym! I have an awful pain in my neck that's almost gone now but lasted for like 2/3 weeks so I took a break from the gym and my diet has slipped completely, but I'm hoping that by next month I'll be able to get back on it!

Back to content though I feel like I'm in a really good place with it all, I'm putting things in place that allow me to step away from it and not let it consume my life, like after my last video I created all the shorts (tiktoks/reels) and spent like 3 hours either scheduling them or uploading them as a draft so I don't have to think about it and the content is still going up! I'm taking a less analytical approach to videos, I was constantly trying to hit an algorithm but now I'm just gonna make the content that I love at a pace that I want and if it works it works and if it doesn't then at least I have you guys!

As for content on other channels I feel like that's going good too, I feel like people really enjoy the uncut stuff at the minute on the second channel, the Isaac Rose channel and discord I launched for that has been a really amazing safe space for that kinda stuff that I wanna expand in the future. As for the MxZGames channel I've figured out what I want to do for that channel its just finding time for it, but as soon as I do it you will all be the first to know.

The other project that I've been insanely excited about recently too, the book I'm writing! The ideas and characters I have in my head I am in love with and I want to get it all down on a page to share with you all, its a new project and a tough one, I've never done anything like this so its scary and something that I've had a lot of self doubts about, but I'm pushing through it, learning as I go and maybe some day I could actually call myself an author...When I was in year 6 at school, like 10/11 years old, becoming an author was a dream of mine, it was the job that I wanted! As I grew into my teen years I sort of lost that passion but through reading its reignited that desire in me and I cannot wait to share it with the world.

One side of content that I have slacked on recently is Streaming. I wanna change that and I wanna get more consistent with it because I love talking and chilling with you guys, especially on the new Minecraft world I've been working on. So hopefully in next months diary entry I can say that I've improved that!

Overall I think I'm in a good place, maybe one of the best I've been in a while, this years been an interesting one but definitely a growing time for me, I'm changing and developing my mind into who and what I want to be... Your 20s are weird but exciting, its a whirlwind of emotions.

In other exciting news I want to let you all into a little secret... I'm working on some merch! Not clothing, but something else, something that is so so cool and I cant wait to show you guys, its scary as I'm going to have to invest my own money into it and if it doesn't work then I'll just have to take the loss as a lesson but I cannot wait to share it with you guys. Maybe I will in next months diary.

The month of October is going to be a busy one but an exciting one. I'm going to center parks for a weekend with Anna's family, I'm going to EGX in London, my bathroom is being fitted, I'm going to a Lizzy McAlpine concert in Birmingham, and I might also be going away on a holiday with my family to the lake district for a week which would be absolutely amazing because the lake district is my absolute favorite part of the UK, if I could live anywhere it would be there, whenever I am there my mind is at its calmest, I love it.
