Personal update (a.k.a. Where's some new CC???)

Hi everyone!

You might have noticed that it’s been some time since my last CC piece, so I wanted to quickly let you know what’s going on.

You probably know that my main motivation for learning how to mesh and create my own sims clothes was that I couldn’t find anything appropriate for the 1890s decade. Now, a few pieces later, for the first time since half a year ago, I feel like I reached my goal: all my sims are dressed  properly... Which is a great thing, but it also means I kind of lost my drive.

I don’t want to say I’m done with making outfits -  absolutely not. I just don’t feel this need any more to create one piece after another, as quickly as possible, publishing a new one every week. I’m rather interested in honing my skills, getting better in Blender and trying out new things. Making objects, which is a tad different than making clothes. Learning some tuning. Maybe poses, maybe animations.  Eventually even modding, why not? ...In some distant future, I mean.

Currently I’m getting familiar with making build/buy mode CC. My first object - a simple conversion, which you might have spotted on my tumbler, in the butcher’s & fishmonger’s screenshots - is almost ready and I hope to publish it today in the evening (European time). I’m thinking also of making a certain set of minimally altered BG items. And, obviously, I am  planning to make a new dress - probably for children, as Klementyna is about to grow up any second and the dress with puffed sleeves will soon be completely out of fashion.

As for non-sims stuff... I take that whole Decades Challenge way too seriously (as you might have noticed  ^^), so I’d love to dedicate some more time to reading about late XIX and early XX century. There are certain books I found - some of them I even started - which could be very helpful to my story.

That’s more or less it. I just wanted to let you know what you can expect from me in the nearest future, so that a sudden object here and there wouldn’t take you by surprise.
