Snow-Form Elemental (Alpha 0.3)

Found within the coldest climates of the Realm of Mortals, Snow-Form Elementals are the result of unstable magics bonding to snow and ice of blizzards, manifesting sentient humanoid figures composed of frozen water.

Appearing as  living statues of snow, the forms of Snow-Form Elementals are quite varied and can appear comparable to any humanoid race, yet made of snow. Though they can emulate the movements of humanoids, they lack the ability to speak.

The nature of Snow-Form Elementals is based upon the types of magic that had formed it. For example, if the unstable magics that led to a Snow-Form Elemental's creation were destructive, the elemental will seek to harm those around, while if the magics that led to its creation were transformative, the elemental will be compelled to alter the form of others. In some cases, if a benevolent Priest or Naturalist was using their magics to help protect others and heal them from the dangers of a blizzard, a Snow-Form Elemental will be created who aim to heal and protect those who travel through their territory, leading to the creation of a region's benevolent guardian.

As the magics that had led to its creation impact its nature, they also impact the creature's capabilities, leading to Snow-Form Elementals coming in three forms: Harsh, Deviant, and Serene. Harsh Snow-Form Elementals are the most common, aiming to harm others with ice magics. Alternatively Deviant Snow-Form Elementals can afflict others with a curse that provides them with a frigid form like that of their own, sometimes leading to larger "snow balls" on the target's chest, while Serene Snow-Form Elementals have inherent access to healing magics.
