Races Part Five (Alpha 0.1)

Pintling

Alongside Goblins, Pintlings are among the shortest races in the Realm of Mortals. Pintlings stand about half as tall as humans but tote notably sizable body proportions which they can naturally manage with ease. Though they may be short in stature, the lifespans of Pintlings are among the longest of races, rivaling those of elves. Due to their long lives, the majority of Pintlings perceive time in a different manner than most other races, adopting laid-back and patient attitudes.

Pintlings are known to be nurturing an patient, frequently supporting others around them and helping them grow. An earnest people, while Pintlings can be found in many of the largest cities in the Realm of Mortals, Pintling villages are traditionally cozy and quaint farming settlements.

Due to their low-energy and lackadaisical  demeanors, Pintlings and Goblins have long been at odds.

Half-Demon

Though the majority of Demons that make their way into the Realm of Mortals aim to corrupt and transform those around them, in some cases, a demon who becomes particularly attached to a specific mortal can lead to the eventual birth of a Half-Demon.

Half-Demons appear nearly indistinguishable from a member of their non-demon parent's race, exhibiting only one minor demonic trait such as eyes in a demonic shade,  small demonic horns, or sharp teeth. However, the presence of demon blood significantly alters a Half-Demon's physiology, allowing them to resist traditionally corrupting effects whilst making them to susceptible to the magics of angels and other purifying effects.

Half-Angel

Among the most uncommon races found within the Realm of Mortals, Half-Angels most frequently come into being after a mortal who'd traveled to the Realm of the Pure catches the eye of an angel who find them particularly "worthy." Though Half-Angels are quite a rarity, those found within the Realm of Mortals most often find themselves as adventurers due to their angelic heritage providing  an inner drive to help others and purge corruption.

Half-Angels appear comparable to members of their non-angel parent's race, yet with idealized features. Additionally, if a Half-Angel's angelic parent had a distinct or uncommon hair, eye, or skin color, this coloration is usually passed on to their children.
