It's not just that. The other patreon that I subscribed to once said "Thanks to Covid-19 I have more time" And now they say with the new excuse "Because of bad weather, snowfall in my area!" or the best excuse "Because of the pandemic we could not finish the voice actor in time". Or the "Mattdarey91SFM", for example, is not making progress at all when after 1 year he hardly heard anything about him. 1. Does it say "He had a motorcycle accident" which was a rumor later revealed when he later uttered it. 2. Then he said that he "had difficulties because his relatives died" and later the best comes ... When his subscription goes down, he suddenly reports nothing and my "I have got a new PC and better design its project". His last post by "Mattdarey91SFM" was on May 2020. Lots of people paid money too. His subscription (Mattdarey91SFM) was very large and had even made over $1600. Now I've checked and he now only earns $104, self-fault. I have subscribed to "UberPie" here for 1 year. Now you think that I am talking about him now, but he is one of the few who write very polite and informative update news! Okay, the last almost 7 months has been a long time, but if it is like this has notifications, then it should be very long and good. And I also really appreciate his work.

I really have no problem with waiting a little bit more. I mean, it’s not such a big deal. However, I think it would be very good to improve the communication. Just some little status update so that everyone knows what’s going on and what to expect. I am also not a big fan to communicate a specific release date, because some sort of error can always occur. And everyone who is working in the IT should know that you can find some deep rabbit holes to play with for a couple of days.

amm i think some people are confused here, or am i ? on the 1st he posted that it will be avaible NEXT week and if i pull up a calendar the 1st is monday so week of the post is 1-7 and "next" week, week of the relase is 8-14 right? or did something else get mention on discord or something? not looking for excuses for uber since i myself cange my supp for him ( about 8 months without an update ) but i am curious if i don't get how a calendar works or the other way around. also 1 more thing the week does not start with sunday it ENDS with sunday, that's why thous 2 days are called weekend, because it happens at the END of a week, just because in the english language sunday is mentioned first (for ease of pronunciation) dosen't mean it's actualy huw it actualy works, it's the same way they use the calendar date system, due to how there english grama works they changed the pozition of the DD and MM, that's why insted of DD.MM.YYYY they use MM.DD.YYYY because that's how there language grama works.

My issue here is that uber actually said "Definitely this week" and not even releasing it this week(sure there might have been bugs in the game etc) but DONT give a release date then, it proves that his promises cant be trusted in my eyes.

With everyone here arguing regarding broken promises, delays and other speculations - isn't the real issue the lack of communication? It takes Uber, and anyone from their team, a couple of minutes to give an update now and then just to tell us what's going on. When we keep getting these vague and rare comments from Uber, just to have it followed by radiosilence it frustrates everyone.

He dont have the Beta, he only have arts pack to write. The fucking Uber Scammer delay again without any apologize post.

Also keep in mind that raven got sent a BETA. Meaning there could still be a few issues or bugs in the game that still need to be fixed. Just be patient for another week and let them fix any remaining issues so the final product we get is good quality. We’ve already waited this long, another week isn’t shit in retrospect. Just give it at least another week y’all. Personally I highly doubt we will be waiting any longer than that.

Agree. Some devs work on releasing bite-size installments, and can do bi-weekly or monthly releases, but that's never been Uber's development model. I always assume the release deadline is "when it's ready." I know that can be frustrating to some, and I do empathize, and I wouldn't begrudge someone deciding it's not a model they wanted to support. For me, I continue to support because, every release, Uber brings the goods - usually hours of new story line, hot sex scenes, and unique beautiful art. Again, no disrespect meant from me to those who are disappointed/agitated by the lack of release and communication. Just saying I still support and continue to support, because I've got no reason to think it won't be worth it in the end.

Release dates are the worst sort of "promises" because nobody really wins with a release deadline. It's great if it helps the devs to complete their work somehow, but it usually just causes stress.

Well, a supporter did specifically ask whether he meant the week he posted the update or the week after, to which Uber replied "this week". Clearily that referred to this week coming to a close.

Technically Uber said "the update will be available next week". Since the post was (as of today) less than week ago. My understanding of his "next week" could mean anytime AFTER this coming Monday. So untill NEXT Sunday rolls around without an update, all of y'all's bitching is superfluous. Suck it up buttercups, he still has time before his "next week" deadline.

I get the being dissapointed and I'm the first to complain about the lack of communication, but constantly bitching arround for a delay? Game development isn't an easy thing, delays happened, it's just natural, just take a look at major AAA companies ant it still happens, let alone to a 3 man team, besides Uber said the update would be out this week and for most of us the week isn't over, constantly crying about a delay that hasn't even happened yet is just moronic :)

They got until the end of the day tomorrow before I cancel my subscription it's more than 2 months past promised time and they said "This week Definitely :)"

Most likely will only come out next week, since raven hasn't received the beta version yet and he needs to play it before release :(
