Hey! If you’re reading this, I’m probably in Turkey like I said last week—assuming nothing exploded on the way. I worked right up until I had to leave the house, so here’s where things stand.

New MCO moveset in production: Kyne’s Hilt & Horizon. Outdoor = big, sweeping, crowd-control swings. Indoor = tight, thrust-forward work that won’t snag on walls. TL;DR: I can now make animations in MotionBuilder and get them into Skyrim SE as AMR-ready (root motion works in-game). Hitboxes and combo windows aren’t wired yet, so attacks don’t deal damage yet—but I have a plan to fix that. This post is just progress + next steps. I’m teaming up with Pasquale (Albus961) and crew to build cinematic, HEMA-inspired swordplay on top of MCO. First milestone: a rock-solid MotionBuilder → FBX → HKX pipeline. Then a tiny Block/Deflect vertical slice that proves the feel—clear parries, satisfying clangs, readable rhythm. Simple version: one perfect clash that feels great and behaves consistently.
