Progress Report
Added 2021-07-13 16:41:07 +0000 UTCAh, summer! Yeah, I know many of you are struggling with extreme heat this season. You have my sympathies. Here, however, the weather is nice and comfortable right now, and it couldn't have happened at a better time. That's right, my summer vacation has officially started. No, not a vacation from LLtP, but from my day job. This means that I should be able to dedicate more time than usual to game development, though I will, of course, make sure to enjoy my vacation as well.
As for progress this past week, it has been good. I usually fully finish the art before I do the writing, or vice-versa. However, this time, I have both done writing and posing parallel to each other, and it's been fun. Returning to writing focused on Belle is refreshing after all the serious stuff of the previous months, for Belle is anything but serious most of the time. As usual, her banter comes naturally as I write it, and it is already turning into quite an enjoyable bit of dialogue. At least in my opinion.
I have also been tossing a few ideas back and forth for my next game. It needs some kind of overhanging story to glue the entire thing together, and I'm starting to see the outline of something that should make it more interesting than just another slice-of-life game. As usual, it seems I might not be able to resist writing a (hopefully) compelling story, but we'll see.
And that's it for now. I need to continue working on this scene. It's just one scene in this update, but I want to make it cover a lot of ground, and you all know Belle. She's not going to be satisfied with just one sex position.
