Progress Report
Added 2020-08-23 18:47:14 +0000 UTCI finally got past the planning stage and solved all the remaining problems I had with this update's progression. Phew! I don't think there's anything else like this for the rest of this game's development, so I'm glad to get it over with. This is the least fun part of making LLtP, honestly. Lots of work and very little to show for it.
One of my patrons, Zaszar, offered to act as a "sparring partner" to throw my ideas at, and it worked. I've done this before with another patron (these are listed under "Sidekicks and Idea Pixies" in the credits), and it can really help dig me out of mental roadblocks.
So, with that out of the way, I've finally started working on the renders. I have a clear mental image of how I'd like this to look, but these things often change during execution. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final results.
There's not much else to say than that this week. The remaining challenges for 0.33 are routine for me after three years of working on this game, so I expect things to go smoothly from here on out.
