Biweekly? Video Progress Update- 01/01/2022

Hello everyone, new year, new patreon thing. I have been pondering doing a weekly or biweekly update thing for videos just to be a bit more transparent about progress and how things are going on my end. So with the new year here, there is no better time then now to get it going, except the 1st is a Saturday but who cares lol.

Most of this is going to be rambling on my end as I'm just gonna keep typing until I get bored but to have something of substance:

As you can see, a lot of stuff in production but not all of it is for January. I usually jump the gun a bit with video making and planning so some stuff on there will probably arrive early February.

 Let's get a bit more retrospective for a bit: Video 18

So video 18 was kind of a return type video, I had been delaying making it for a while due to work and stuff and I also had no clue what to actually put in it for the longest time. Then the whole stuff with the file corruption happened and production just went nowhere. After the release of the patreon brainwash (one of my best works to date that almost broke my computer) I actually decided to push forward with the video and with the support of you all, I managed to get it done and to a welcome reception as well. 

A lot of the elements in that video could have done with some checking however. I will probably never do another "like comment subscribe" thing, it kinda feels wrong as it has the potential to break immersion. The discord invite will never return though, I should have put a greater effort into seeing if it worked first before actually trying it. Apart from those issues, the rest of the video is good in my opinion. The introduction of a symbol helps with branding and getting "all hail sonia" into the mainstream will help with getting defining mantra for the channel.

Ok, but what about the new stuff?

So the ".5" videos are part of a "mini series". Now I can't really call it a mini series as that would imply multiple will happen and the mini doesn't work because the video length may actually hit normal video length. So this leaves the series with the odd name I call it internally "The videos where I can do whatever I want because it's not part of the main series but video 20 kinda does that but I'll explain video 20 another time" or "The series where the really weird stuff arrives". Now that second name may scare you but don't worry it scares me as well. I'm looking forward to the stuff i can put into the series as it feels like I can break the barriers of the channel without serious repercussion as I can just say "It was a bonus video lol". So expect some really wacky stuff from the mini series in the future, if you have filled out the 1-10 ranking form I made a while back you know whats coming (yes I'm going to do them all)

Ok so with the release of the second remaster, they are going to go on a bit of a break. January and February have already been decided but March is probably going to be a poll based on suggestions by you all. The question will probably go out next month but I can start taking suggestions now if you have a video that you really want. Speaking about that...

Custom Videos

To the people who may be here and who requested a custom video, I'm sorry for taking this long to do it. I don't know what stopped me from making them but something was always there. That thing has gone now however so things are back in order. How they will probably work is that if I have video backlogs ready, I will contact people in order of my form and get them their video, that way I don't create an artificial writers block. If you were one of the two who I originally said I would be making one, check your email as I will have or will be contacting you about it soon. As for everyone else who may want one here, you all get a jump-start over  the rest of the community so if you want a custom video, please hit me up via either email or discord so we can talk.

Ok, but what about video 20, you've talked a lot about it

Well that's about it for this update, if it magically changes I will let people know but expect another update like this in two weeks. Or less, I may just make there whenever. (Do please remind me to make them if I miss a deadline)
