How the different endings in Chapter 2 work (mild spoilers inside)

Heya! 👋

I hope you had some time (and fun, of course) testing the Early Access of Chapter 2 1.0!

If you made it to the end, you saw an end screen that told you which of the 3 possible endings you unlocked.

Like in any good old school RPG (I'm thinking classic Bioware stuff like Mass Effect 💖, or Baldur's Gate 3) these mechanics are supposed to work under the hood and encourage multiple playthroughs.

In this WIP phase of the project, it's good to have this a bit more transparent though, to see if everything works as expected - and as an added benefit, it provides a good guide what to do if you want to unlock a specific ending 😉.

So I made a little flow chart to illustrate the logic that plays out in the final encounter before leaving the tomb.

If you haven't played up this point yet, this will include spoilers!

I recommend to go in without any prior knowledge first, and then check out this post later.
