Stupid brat, Katie fumed. Stupid bet. Stupid, stupid–
She should have just told the dweeb to shove off, that she wouldn’t take the gamble, but she’d just been so cocky about it. Katie had intended to put her in her place, but–
Well, she got unlucky. That was it. There was nothing else to it, the dork got lucky and Katie made a mistake and now she had to wear the outfit that’d been picked for her.
Even then, Katie regretted agreeing to things. She’d have shoved the girl in a locker, if there’d been a locker nearby, and if she hadn’t had a camera out for the entire bet to prove she’d won, Katie would have told her to screw off.
But she hadn’t realized that ‘Picking Katie’s outfit’ for a trip to the mall would include a diaper. Or, worse, that the dork would insist on dressing Katie in it herself, including pulling down her top and adjusting the waist on the ridiculous skirt.
The only saving grace was that nobody could actually see the diaper, and she doubted anyone could hear the subtle crinkle. Only, as she walked across the mall…
Why did everyone behind her keep laughing?
