Announcement - New Content, New Polish, & Tier Updates

Hey there!

First off, I want to say thank you so much - Thank you, thank you, for all your continued support. Whether you've been a patron for a month, or you're one of the people who have been subscribed since I launched in 2020 (holy shit you're so awesome!), thank you.

With that said, I'm excited to announce some cool changes coming to this Patreon - Nothing is going away, I'm just adding stuff.

Namely - Weekly captions. I've dabbled with them, and they're both fun to write and something I can fit within my schedule. So far I've had good luck lining up with artists who are willing to share permission with me to use their art. If this changes in the future, I might release ultra-micro fiction that isn't a caption instead, but I'm set for the foreseeable future - Which means you're going to be getting four or five bonus pieces of content every month!

(For now, these captions will be released with a shorter early access period, two weeks instead of one month.)

I'm also making some changes to the available tiers. At the end of the month, I'm going to retire the 5$ tier and replace it with one that costs 8$. If you remain subscribed, nothing at all will change for you! As an extra thank you for your ongoing support, anyone who subscribes before the end of the month will be able to keep that 5$ price for as long as this Patreon is up. It's only new subscribers, and anyone who unsubscribes and then wants to come back, that will have the new 8$ price. This is in response to a couple things - mostly, inflation, prices where I live have continued to rise and writing has become a pretty significant portion of my income, so I need to lean on that where I can. I'm always reaching for new heights and trying to put more time into my writing, to increase the quality, and generally do this to the Best of My Ability.

Plus, you may have already seen the announcement of the new editorial team! In the interest of making sure I give you the best fiction I can possibly produce, I've found a couple people who are giving my writing an editing pass before I publish. This is an extra monthly expense for me, but I want to ensure you're getting the best possible stories and my own eyes are only able to catch so many flaws. So everyone give them a big round of applause, and if everything goes well, you'll never notice they were even here because the mistakes will all vanish. ;)
