I'd like to release each chapter, once complete, as an original size digital compendium of some sort. I'm just not sure how best to do this.

I want to both offer this to all of you lovely Patrons first and foremost and protect it from being reposted online out of my control. The latter is incredibly difficult to do.

The now old fashioned way of burning it onto a CD/DVD and posting it to people isn't going to work as the vast majority of folks now don't seem to use these formats for anything.

Printed copy is also difficult since publisher generally want exclusivity rights on content (which is perfectly fair) and with Shelby already being here on Patreon, that exclusivity is not available to a publisher.

That leaves me, really, with digital download. This is the most difficult format to protect in part because it's so easy and convenient to interact with so people have a habit of sharing carelessly.

The final consideration is income from this. With every product an artist seeks to maximise their return and that can be met with a wide variety of responses from the positive to the, well, rude. I'd like to offer the full size files to all my Patrons FREE OF CHARGE and to the general public at a price that's suitable for a 30 page comic plus bonus artwork. BUT, I don't want to be accused of the old 'double-dipping' thing.

Some people do want to pay for a single one-off copy of the comic, without the commitment to the whole project. I'm fine with this. I'd like to cater to them. Unfortunately waiting just behind them are the folks that want EVERYTHING for free. Those are the ones that spoil it for everyone else.

Anyway, your thoughts as always are welcome on this. Perhaps there's a convention other artists already follow for this sort of thing that I'm not aware of.
