You are hilarious. I love Mudeok and Jang-Uk, but we don’t have to act like Yul is a bad person or is trying to steal Mudeok from Jang-Uk. I am pretty sure in the beginning it was curiosity up until him finding out that she is Naksu. They all need each other. His feelings are valid and tbh he is not forcing himself on her, she also looks at him a different way( since she once liked him). He is just looking out for her which I think is nice of him. I would expect even people that are just friends to look out for each other. Also, they don’t even meet often, it’s just that whenever they meet there’s tension because of their past history which is reasonable if you ask me. Jang-Uk cannot be everywhere and Yul is very observant and has helped both Jang-Uk and Mudeok silently a lot, so I feel bad when anyone badmouths him. He is like a very quiet character that no one ever gives credit to because he chooses not to show off. I definitely want Mudeok and Jang-Uk to be together, but Yul is also very demure and mindful and I’ll like to give him his much deserved flowers. As for the crown prince, yes he is also very strong. Jang-Uk is just very fortunate and lucky as Mudeok has said a lot. In reality the crown prince would beat the heck out of Jang-Uk because tbh he just started training. I think it’s unrealistic to expect Jang-Uk to be so strong when others have trained their whole life. I am glad Jang-Uk won tho and very dramatically 😌 That’s my 2 cents on this episode.

I think the purpose of a gwangju is to act almost like the kings advisor. I also think its just a way of having a really powerful mage working for the royal family as well as having someone who can help maintain a good connection between the mages and the royal family.
