Information about my current situation
Added 2025-11-17 08:57:18 +0000 UTCHello you wonderful people, today I’m reaching out with a personal message to let you know that at the moment, I am unable to create content or even pick up a paintbrush. As I already wrote on Discord, two weeks ago I suddenly experienced numbness in both of my feet overnight. After this condition persisted for several days, I was admitted to the hospital to find out what was going on.
After several examinations, it turned out that I have an inflammation of the spinal cord in the thoracic area, which is pressing on my nerves and causing numbness. They immediately started a cortisone treatment, which I received daily for seven days in the hospital to reduce the inflammation. They also took spinal fluid and sent it to a clinic for analysis to determine whether an autoimmune disease might be triggering the inflammation.
I am now back home and continuing to take cortisone in tablet form. My feet have improved slightly, but I am experiencing severe muscle weakness, and my limbs feel heavy and tingly. My motor function is limited because my hands are shaky. Over the next few weeks, I will begin physical therapy exercises to support nerve healing.
Unfortunately, I am still waiting for the lab results and honestly have no idea how this illness will progress. I will have to postpone my coaching sessions for now, but they will all be made up as soon as I’m well again.
I remain positive, but I will be stepping back from social media for the time being so I can fully focus on healing.
