Painting Sword in NMM

In my last workshop we had exactly this task and I was surprised how many people struggled with finding a way to paint it. So I have decided to show one way, which is certainly easier to follow and understand then many NMM kung fu blades you see in the internet. The idea behind it is to keep things as simple as we can, and add more complexity as we need.
Also supporters ask me, what I'm using to dilute my paints, its just water, no mediums, no retarders.
I had also the chance to test the new IONIC paints and I really like them. But they are different for sure, so they need a bit of time investment to get the full benefit. One major thing I can already say, they cover well and dont need much water, perfect for my painting style imo.
Next days I will also upload the face painting of the HIGHWAY bust.
And as next project I thought about a Eldar model, but I have to postpone it a bit because of a custom bust project, which is already finished and needs a boxart asap, before everyone can purchase it. I think it will be a frontiers or KS campain as STL this time.
