Painting DC Red Hood Part 1

Finally I can reveal my personal project exclusivley for my supporters on patreon. This Jason Todd AKA Red Hood model was designed by Stivens Truljio Sanchez, known for several Big Child Creatives sculpts, after I had requested a unique model of this badass DC character. He is a bit under the radar within the more known characters, but in my opinion he looks just cool and deserves a bit more attention. So why not painting a super villian, a welcome change from fantasy and scifi stuff. After I had painted Marvels Collossus, I found out that I really enjoy panting comic characters. Stivens is really the man who does best with action models, and he did a fantastic job here, and I can't be happier.
So in this video I cover the first airbrush sketch for the overall mood, since he is standing on a gargoyle, I imagine some city lights from below. I also start with the NMM on the torso, but keep it unfinished because it may change later, once I see more of the model rendered in color.
I also start the leather jacket and the pants.
