Hey everyone! Today I share the sword painting session with you. In this video I show a very fast and effective method, without too much overthinking of lightplacement. My goal was a bright metal effect with low contrast and gentle changes in hues, with one major highlight and few smaller ones. The violet theme on the tip was actually inspired by an artwork after some research. It should harmonize with the cloth and follows rather the rule of cool then any enviromental storytelling. The lower blade just still needs the warmth like in the armor to match with the rest.

Alai is close to be finished, I just need some ideas for the fabric freehand soon.

I will also upload the gold NMM armor of the FER miniatures male bust, after I have realized that I had recorded the entire coaching session. That was also a big chunk to paint in that warm orange gold NMM.

The stormcast challenge is also finished, so I will upload a feedback video in the next month. There were some really great entries.
