And sometimes that chapter is 14,400 words.
And sometimes there's a pattern, because I did this on Triptych.
Because I'm the only one who can see all of the cards, and there comes the time to put most of them face-up on the table and explain why this is supposed to be a functional grouping.
Because we go all the way down into the dark before we can start climbing up again.
