Sketch Submission Update
Added 2022-02-28 16:25:20 +0000 UTCHey all, just want to update on the sketches submission we did. You are a bunch of funny fuckers, we got almost 40 submissions. We will be going through all the ideas and submissions and if we can find one the guys are cool with producing we will put it together.
I love doing this kind of thing and hopefully it becomes a staple of the Patreon. If you're thinking of writing something for the guys, keep a few things in mind.
1. Keep the cast small, try to use just Sam and Mark and a few others, we can get people from the crew to stand in or do bit parts, but the production is more likely to be made if we don't need to ask Jerry Seinfeld to be part of it.
2. Keep the setting simple, if we need to edit in a green screen of Mars, it probably isn't going to happen. If we need to go on location to the St. Louis arch, probably not going to happen. Office related bits would be good, stuff around NYC as a setting is good.
3. Don't script the N word into the premise. We're not trying to get that kind of attention, Joe Rogan has a lot more money than us.
4. A fully written sketch has a higher likelihood of being picked. We're lazy, so if you type it all up with dialogue and all that, it's less work for us.
