Making a Video Game

Since I have a background in game making (coding, game design) it seems natural to make a smutty video game! There are a few unknowns we need to figure out before we embark on this project together.

Firstly: We need to keep this project SIMPLE. This is paramount, because most game dev projects doesn't get off the ground because of feature creep and analysis paralysis. 

Secondly :We need to know what the game is about, and how it's going to be played. Many popular adult games are about dating the most women/monster girls/ slimes. Some are dating sims, other visual novels or even light RPGs. I think I'd like to have an interactive story where you can make interesting choices from playthrough to playthrough, while also showcasing the sex renders I would make in blender specifically for the game.

Thirdly : Game engine. I have worked in the past with Unreal engine and Unity, but both seem overkill and out of scope for a solo dev. I would much prefer Ren'Py or RPG Maker. I have some experience coding in Javascript (for RPG Maker) and almost none for Python (Ren'Py) but both are out of the box product and should pose no problems for me. Keep in mind that RPG Maker is more for RPGs type of games (duh) and Ren'Py more for Visual Novels. 

(("But why don't you want to use a 3d engine SuperBig" Well other than the complexity shooting through the roof for a simple smut game, I will probably need to use Daz studio to get my hands on enough assets to make this possible, and if you use models outside of 2d "renders" like on a 3d game character for exemple, you need to pay for an interactive license, and I can't do that for now. ))
