Behind the scenes: Preparing Donations!

As you know, the publisher has raised funds for animal shelters and organizations along with the book sales. More than 9000€ have been collected, which is almost $10,000. The publisher would like to donate 2000€ each to 5 different animal shelters/organizations. For this purpose, such large checks were made to hand over, so that we can also "prove" that the money was handed over. At the moment we are still asking the organisations if they would be willing for a photo with us (but don't worry, they will get the money even if they are not lol). I think it is a nice gesture and shows transparency that the money is really passed on. The first cheque on the photo will be given to "Ch'amis de Jules" who takes care of shelter kittens and cats in late pregnancy. Since the publisher is based in Belgium and is mainly active there and in France, mainly associations in this region will get the money.

I hope we get photos with all 5 organizations, that would be wonderful :) The more organizations we can introduce, the more people may feel like donating. That's my hope at least.

For this year, I hope that we will find a large international publisher who may also be willing to raise funds with the sales so that we can support as many animal shelters and organizations as possible worldwide.

By the way, the cat on the photo belongs to the publisher and is called Gwenda! She was adopted too, they got her from the very Ch'amis de Jules organisation :)
