Hello good hunter,
Today some new feats to help you survive the horrors of the trench war
Trench Warrior:
This feat draws from the harsh realities of trench warfare. It reflects the skills and tactics developed by soldiers who spent months in the muddy, cramped confines of the Western Front. The feat encapsulates the importance of cover, improvisation, and the ability to quickly fortify one's position.
Iron Nerves:
Inspired by the psychological toll of prolonged combat, this feat represents the mental resilience some soldiers developed in the face of shell shock and the horrors of industrial warfare. It acknowledges the strength required to maintain composure under extreme stress and continuous exposure to traumatic events.
These feats aim to bring a touch of historical authenticity to characters with backgrounds tied to the Great War or similar conflicts.
Obviously nothing quite like what really happened since this is D&D, but the inspiration sure is there.
P.S: I'm surprised by the number of Sabaton songs that refer to WW1.
