Social outcasts and foreigners, the latter especially. Plenty of people forget that most of Dionysos' 'career' as a Demigod was spent far, far away from Greece (and that's just the part which haven't been censored too heavily).

2025-05-14 06:47:01 +0000 UTCI was rereading and wondering, do you plan to keep a more powerful Percy Jackson Dionysus character, or reveal him to be along the lines of the Greek Mythological god, either way is fine. I just saw a lot of capability with the orphic connections of Dionysos and his insanity in terms of things like the Bacchae being shown as the Olympians rewriting things and forcibly changing Dionysus. Especially since the old Dionysos was more of a symbol for social outcasts like our favorite Suicide Squad.
