An Impractical Guide to Teaser - 16 March 2025
Added 2025-03-16 12:53:13 +0000 UTCHi to every reader!
Writing is progressing rather nicely on the chapter, since I reached 28K words today.
And there's still a few scenes to write, of course (otherwise there would be no teasers).
Today to celebrate the week-end (nice excuse your beloved Tyrant has just decided upon) you get a teaser (14K-long).
As always remember that everything is non-corrected, non-betaed, and can be modified in mere minutes by the author's tyrannical will.
Enjoy!

Nereus, son of Pontus, the Primordial of the Sea. I often forget that it is not common knowledge for people who are maniacs about the Greek Pantheon...(and I may have fallen into that category by accident, ooops).

2025-03-17 10:58:00 +0000 UTCThanks for the answer - and I do have another question : who the heck is the Old Man of the Sea ? I remember only that it could speak of several Greek-Romans Sea Deities.

2025-03-16 20:03:22 +0000 UTCEternal Youth didn't help, but the majority were turned genuinely mad by the Quests they survived. Especially the Great Quest that got them rewarded with eternal youth. Great Quests are in general very nasty, both from a physical and mental perspective. The current crop of heroes is in many way very lucky they got Perseus-Kairos and Bianca-Triumphant, otherwise they would have fared far, far worse (assuming they returned at all).

2025-03-16 19:58:51 +0000 UTCHa! Ha! Come on, no one is that close to transform into Cegorach. Dionysus is the closest one at the time being, and he's not feeling any tendencies to dress as a clown...(goes checking just in case)...

2025-03-16 19:56:36 +0000 UTCIndeed, not exactly good recruits these demigods. I do wonder whether or not aging and eternal youth is part of their insanity. Were they already insane or did they lack the mental capacities to proceed not aging (aka godhood) ?
