This isn't a teaser - 13 October 2024
Added 2024-10-13 15:05:14 +0000 UTCSince I am on a good writing roll...
Well, enjoy this nice update which is absolutely not a teaser. Again.
Hope everyone has a nice Sunday, and a pleasant month of October (a rainy month of October for me...)
Bests,

I guess after this, Taylor should write a book titled "Governing for Dummies: How to rase your Sector Aestimare from low C to high A in less than 30 years"

2024-10-15 02:29:08 +0000 UTCDidn't all the chaos followers in the quadrant get burned? They now have to rebuild their network throughout the quadrant. Permanently losing 7 legions and 6 great unclean ones for Nurgule would have bled him. That's an entire quadrant wiped clean of their influence among trillions of souls.

2024-10-14 20:09:38 +0000 UTCI doubt that she will surpass the emperor due to the fact she is his "angel" He is totally going to leech off her accomplishments to stay number one!
Forgottenone
2024-10-14 20:04:56 +0000 UTCIn terms of non-warp assets and symbols they lost little. Warp legions just permanently died! It's rare that a single greater daemon die let alone the six confirmed kills. Yes needlessly to say every Quadrant nearby are very happy to be blessed with the emperor's light.

2024-10-14 19:55:08 +0000 UTC...well now. That's going to have a LOT of repercussions and garner Taylor even more attention. I wonder how Vandire and his little conspiracy will be feeling after this? Thanks for another great not teaser.

2024-10-14 18:58:05 +0000 UTCWow, I think chaos lost more here than in the failed black Crusade. But this is also going to make Samarkand...well Nyx Quardrant so fucking rich. A warp-stable quadrant is a massive boon for every type of investment. No ships/people are lost, and the easy/predictable movement of ships is enormous. Taylor will make the high twelve jealous of how wealthy she becomes.

2024-10-14 18:28:21 +0000 UTCHmm...you're right. I should make other cliffhangers. LOL.
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:55:41 +0000 UTCYes. The Quadrant are important zones of space, let's not be mistaken, but it would really take hundreds to fully illuminate the galaxy, and the Imperium (and the Emperor plus Taylor) don't have the 'claim', the ressources, and the power juice to do it. But yes, in the hypothetical case they could, it would have been a decisive and total triumph...
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:55:21 +0000 UTCYes, I'm sure you did... (evil grin).
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:53:43 +0000 UTCElena indeed drinks coffee. Because assuredly, Taylor prefers tea...
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:53:29 +0000 UTCIt is in shock, yes. Nothing of the sort has happened...ever.
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:52:58 +0000 UTCThanks a lot!
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:52:36 +0000 UTCYes, they did.
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:52:24 +0000 UTCHey, he has some moments...and the danger forces him to elaborate more strategies beyond the 'CHARGE! SKULL FOR THE SKULL THRONE!'
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:47:34 +0000 UTCWell, he's the God of War and Strategy...or the closest thing Chaos has to one, anyway.
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:46:43 +0000 UTCYes, yes it is.
Antony444
2024-10-14 14:45:51 +0000 UTCI think the initial wave burned them all out, but like Holy Terra after a long while chaos will be able to send agents back in. Using the time before they can get back Nyx can become truly fortified.

2024-10-14 01:29:32 +0000 UTCAnd this is how we get the Nyx Quadrant.
primus
2024-10-14 00:43:29 +0000 UTCDid I understand that last section correctly? Did every corrupted individual in the Samarkland just drop dead, possibly while visibly burning with the Emperor's light? If so, wow is that huge. If not how should I understand "Everything that was too close to the Veil in the entire Samarkand Quadrant burned." If I've understood it right the Samakland Quadrant has just been put into the Imperial equivalent of a Warp Storm. Nothing corrupted can live within it without being purified. Chaos can no longer invade the Samakland Quadrant in a way very similar to the way the Imperium cannot invade the Eye of Terror. Also, think about what kind of benefits the Inquisition is going to get from the fact that every single cultist and corrupted individual in the entire Quadrant has been publicly identified and neutralized. This is huge!!!

2024-10-14 00:11:21 +0000 UTCA quadrant isn’t a quarter of a segmentum.

2024-10-13 23:53:18 +0000 UTCLoving it! Can’t wait for all the reactions!

2024-10-13 19:23:32 +0000 UTCGreatly enjoy this as normal. But Mala seems to be a bit less anarchic than normal. Is it in shock? But also what’s up with the various campaigns? Is that based on the munitorium tithe that Tor was able to spread out across decades?
Speedster
2024-10-13 19:04:17 +0000 UTCI don't recall when Taylor got the Order of Paius? Since that's the #1 award in the Imperium, shouldn't it have been handed out at some major ceremony? Edit: Elena strikes me a coffee drinker. Which is fitting since Taylor prefers tea.
Never Mind
2024-10-13 17:15:18 +0000 UTCas a coffee drinking i approve of this teaser

2024-10-13 17:06:23 +0000 UTCNow we see the true nature of this plan taking shape. The aetheric engines acting as mirrors and the astronomicon the sun. Illuminating the galaxy as the tombs of ancient Egypt once were. One engine is enough to illuminate a quarter of a segmentum. In theory, 20 would reclaim the galaxy. The same as the number of Primarchs. Was this always the plan Antony? We still need to see how this will interact with the existing warp storms. As those offer an opening for the 4 to push back. Moreover, the warp in this version is more strongly apinged with narrative as in Practical Guide. So what opening does this give to Chaos?

2024-10-13 17:04:33 +0000 UTCFucking lol, the fact that Khorne of all Chaos Gods was the one actually thinking with foresight.

2024-10-13 16:30:16 +0000 UTC..... cliffhanger..... omg i really want to see the aftermath. i cant wait!!!!
Richard Merlin
2024-10-13 16:18:16 +0000 UTCHoly ... did Chaos just get kicked in the *nuts*?
Andrew Norris
2024-10-13 16:17:49 +0000 UTCWell.... Khorne is showing much more forsight compared to the other 3.

2024-10-13 15:53:25 +0000 UTCWell, that certainly wasn't a teaser... it wasn't interesting at all... and I most certainly wasn't happy seeing Chaos getting humiliated in its own Realm. Not at all. And I'm not shouting "Humanity will be free, damn Paraside!" So Quen of Blade got a new hobby: to scare the crap out of everyone at first occassion... not so new, now that I think about it. I do have one true complaint: during Groener PoV there were discussion about some rebellions being crushed here or there and some planet resisting. I think it's the first time you mention it, so I had no idea what this was all about. Could you add some history here... or a map?
Boris Michenski
2024-10-13 15:52:09 +0000 UTCYes ! I love watching the damned Chaos gods get kicked where it hurt ! And yeah, Weaver is going to be revered in the same breath as the God-Emperor once everything is over.
