Here comes a certain not-chapter, then, of around 41,000 words.
I hope every reader will enjoy it.
This time, I wouldn't call the last scene a cliffhanger...more like an omnious warning that things can really, really go badly in a certain galaxy.
Anyway, as you might have already realised, the writing of 12-3 is over, and the unbetaed chapter you have in front of you has been sent to the betas.
I gave them a deadline of mid-August (which was sent by a smiling Commissar) so the corrected chapter should arrive around that date.
Otherwise, well the Inquisition has excellent methods of persuasion...
As confirmed in a previous post, I am now beginning the writing of The odds were never in my favour for this month.

To be fair, there's really no reason why they shouldn't have. Lucius (Imperial Forge World) managed it, and Perturabo is a genius, so he's perfectly capable to find a way to replicate it, though he will have to find a way with warp-sorcery, not pure technology. POV from Nagash...we will see.

He just lost a shit ton of resources in 13 days. It must have taken a long time to gather all that. He also successfully hid everything from all the players on the board. Does this mean there are now at least 3 contenders for the 5th throne?

Where a Sultan beheaded Genghis ambassador violating diplomatic tradition? Also has someone who enjoyed Fantasy I love the return of Valkia, and with Tzeentch backing Victoira I am wondering if we will see the other gods swap their Primarchs for Saints / Champions? I pretty sure they got a couple of souls of Fallen Eldar muses to use.
