The odds 99 unbetaed
Added 2022-10-16 07:43:48 +0000 UTCAs promised, this week was spent writing the new chapter of The odds were never in my favour.
The title is: the Lions of Venice.
Sorry to have said relatively silent on every website, including this one, but the chapter demanded a lot of attention.
Still, I hope the...16,000 words or so will make every reader happy.
I am going to send it to the betas in a few minutes.
It is very likely the beta-ed chapter will be updated next week-end, so that I can update and then finish the preparations for TWO 11-5.
Have a good read!

To be clear, based on past history, Neville has good justifications to believe this will be indeed the truth...

2022-10-20 07:15:53 +0000 UTCFrom what I gathered, the Night court would be out at that point and for victory, the Doge needs to capture the Day King as well. Presumably, the Day Court would need to be the ones doing the capturing for it to count for them.

2022-10-20 01:32:51 +0000 UTCA couple of questions: 1) What happens to the Doge Court if the Doge is eliminated? Do any remaining Doge Court members get to continue their mission or is the entire Court defeated? I ask because Fleur clearly feels she should be a Queen and would probably be more than happy to usurp Malatesti if she thinks she could pull it off. 2) The victory condition for the Day Court states is the capture of the Night Queen or the majority of her Court. Do they have to be the ones holding custody or does that apply to arrests by the Doge as well? If so, does that mean that if the Doge arrests the Night Queen first, does the Doge lose because the Day has obtained victory?
