Stardock. We're going to space! Onto the carved out asteroid of Stardock, filled with Gith warriors and red dragons.
This is the second release of Level 16 - Maps C & D - covering the upper level of Stardock (the level where the gate from the Crystal Dungeon leads). I debated trying to do it as a single map as shown in the book but there are 14 locations where the rooms overlap so this was a much better option. Also the map is confusing to read! - I had to trace over the map in red to be able to understand what was happening.

For reference here is how things are split up, with Maps C&D in black and white and Maps E&F highlighted in red:

Map Notes. There were lots of custom assets and asteroid-y type illustrations to get this map ready to go. I also worked on some ways to package it all up at the end (planet, air bubble, more space) that I am excited to share with the next release.
Area 12E - I have included a TOKEN for the illusory treasure pile instead of putting it directly in the map so that you can dispel it when they discover it is fake.
One area of note is 12F. I'm sorry, you are going to have to 'DM hand wave' this explanation a little. Based on a hoard calculator found online (by Creative Rogues on Tumblr) using the described quantities of coins (250k cp, 121k sp, etc) and using a very generous packing density of 0.4 (meaning very poorly stacked – 60% empty space – more realistic would be 0.6 with 40% empty space) I only get a volume of 31.8 cu ft. As drawn the pile covers roughly 1250 SQUARE feet (or 1250 cu ft. at 1 ft depth) So we are talking several orders of magnitude difference in volume. Yes, it does also contain 2 young red dragons who are hiding within the pile, but 31 cu ft is not going to hide them very well. I did intentionally make the pile very messy so the edges may only be a few inches deep and coins scattered everywhere – for fellow parents you know how difficult it is keeping your gold hoard organized with 2 young dragons playing in it!
Files. I have included both Background "_BG_" and Transparent "_TP_" versions of each of the maps (C and D); background means it has a flat grey image behind the dungeon and transparent means there is nothing there. For the Roll20 versions, this means the background version is a jpg while the transparent version is a png (jpegs don't support transparency); Foundry files are both dd2vtt files.
The zip files below have the Level 16 Maps C and D as well as a DM overlay for each map. Roll20Free is a .jpg < 10MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 20MB and Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100 px (this also holds true for the transparent images).
There are also composite images of the entire asteroid at the respective resolutions (70, 100, 140) contained within each folder.
