Level 8 - 2 - Dungeon of the Mad Mage (All Tiers)

Slitherswamp. Damp and overgrown; the buzzing of flies surrounds you as you wade through the muck.  Reeds, fungi, and other plants rise out of the mud; vines cling to the walls and overgrow the ruins.

I will again repeat this map was a ton of fun to make and I really wanted to create a vibe that was overgrown, wet, murky - I hope I delivered!

Map Notes. I kept things consistent with the previous release and had deep areas of water being darker and with the "kelp" plants.

For the path down to Level 9 you will note it is cut off - from the reference map it looks as though it is spiraling down to Level 9 - so I cut it and included a token in each zip file that you can overlay onto the image that connects the east-west section...or just cut it off as they are going to a new map anyways.

There are a few light sources around that you may want to delete that were added for colour/elevation effects but don't exist in the description.

Files. I have included both Background "_BG_" and Transparent "_TP_" versions of each of the maps listed above; background means it has a flat grey(ish green) image behind the dungeon, transparent means there is nothing there. For the Roll20 versions, this means the background version is a jpg while the transparent version is a png (jpgs don't support transparency); Foundry are both dd2vtt files. IF you want to puzzle piece the sections together like above (NOT RECOMMENDED), you have the transparent versions available for that. However, if you set up each map to an individual scene, you could use either, but the _BG_ jpgs will meet the file size limits for Roll20 (TP pngs may not!).

The zip files below have the Level 8 Maps C and D, as well as a GM overlay for each map. Roll20Free is a .jpg < 5MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 10MB, while Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100px (this also holds true for the transparent images).
