We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming...
Today marks the 1 year anniversary of becoming a Patreon Creator for my D&D maps! One year ago I released The Yawning Portal to kick off my first published adventure and began mapping my way through Waterdeep Dragon Heist. It has been an incredible journey and I am continuously blown away by the support from the D&D community for my maps.
Thank you - it is hard to put into words how thankful I am for everyone's support to make this possible. Whether you've been with me from the beginning (and there are a few of you still here, which is truly amazing!) or have recently joined, I cannot thank you enough for choosing my maps to use in your game and for becoming a patron of my work. My only hope is that my maps continue to serve you well and do justice as a backdrop to the amazing stories that you and your players create.
Now - on to the map. I'm releasing this original content map as something a little different for the 1 year anniversary. Don't worry - we'll be back to the undermountain next week!
The Quarry - years of excavations have left a haphazard assortment of large stone slabs throughout the pit as excavators searched for the best material to sell for the highest price. The result is a maze of different levels, ladders, and stairs throughout the quarry.
This map includes 2 variants (+ night versions). The first variant is an "entrance version" which includes an entrance on the quarry floor at the north end - a perfect entrance to drop in any dungeon or cave complex map to the north! The second variant is a "fog" version, which reduces visibility and adds a heavy fog overlay to the scene. All 3 also come with night versions.
Files. I went with a familiar naming convention/file structure for this post. The zip files below have the Quarry maps (all 6 versions). Roll20Free is a .jpg < 5MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 10MB, while Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100px.
This is where I normally put my Fan Content policy disclaimer - but I don't need that for this map so I'll take one final opportunity to say thank you again!! See you back on Level 4 of the undermountain next week!
ps. Greenhalgh, Knox, Aponte, Capps, Rising, Peper, Jones, Gardner, Novick, Castaldo - you are rockstars! You've been with me since month one - a special thank you for your unwavering support this past year!!
