Hellraiser & Heartbreaker - Waterdeep Dragon Heist [34x34] (All Tiers)

Finally! My sincere apologies for the delay between maps (moving houses is a chore - I'd much rather be making maps!!)

Welcome to the Sea Maidens Fair - perhaps your players will take in the sights or get distracted by a game of chance - or are they on a mission and head straight for the ships?  This is the first map for Chapter 7, Maestro's Fall - with the flagship Eyecatcher coming next (as it's anchored out in the harbor).

The two ships are the officially mapped parts of the map - but book says the two ships are tied at the pier and the key art shows the faire taking place on the pier - so that is what you have here: an all-in map of the area.  The map is 6 levels, with levels 1&2 being the holds at/near water level/under the pier, level 3 is the orlop deck as well as the pier (it seemed approximately the right height), level 4 is the main deck where players end up from the ramp off the pier, level 5 & 6 are fore and aft decks above.  Mapping wise everything is keyed to the book as best as I could (a few dimensions got a little wonky) with scatter as noted in the book.

Files.  You will find the zip files attached below for all 6 levels, both day and night, in Roll20 Free, Roll20 Paid and Foundry VTT formats.  Roll20Free is a .jpg < 5MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 10MB, while Foundry formats are dd2vtt files.  Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100px.  There is also a DM overlay (transparent PNG image keyed to the source book) for all levels to make using the map easier.

Which map files are you looking at specifically that seem low resolution? The Roll20Paid files will be higher resolution (140 px per grid cell) than the R2Free versions (70px per grid cell). If you are on a different VTT the dd2vtt files are at 100px

Ian

Hey there, the resolution is extremely low for some reason.
