This was a very quick doodle from last night, as I wanted to draw something cute leading into the work week. I had Monday off work for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and took the day to decompress mostly. Given the presidential inauguration happening yesterday here in the US, I needed some time to just do...nothing useful, I guess.
I did finish the Mr. Sticker design (so I wasn't entirely unproductive), but I'll share that later in the week. For now, here's this sweet fisherman. I like this as a doodle and a concept despite its flaws. I've never once in my life enjoyed fishing, I'm not relaxed enough for it. But it felt good to draw someone so carefree. Maybe I'll lean into that vibe a bit more in the coming months, for my own sanity.
